About this Site

Many YIW members hurt by Hurricane Sandy continue to be impacted by the slow and difficult process of recovery. We have created a survey to help us understand the needs of our members so that we will be better able to assist them in their rehabilitation.

Additionally, the Five Towns and Far Rockaway Jewish community is gathering data about the damage sustained by the greater community during Hurricane Sandy. This information may enable the Five Towns / Far Rockaway communities to obtain additional funding from potential outside sources.

We therefore ask every YIW member household affected by the storm to please take a few minutes and fill out this very important survey. Be assured that your answers will remain confidential. If you prefer anonymity, please fill out the form anyway.

Rabbi Hershel Billet
Rabbi Shalom Axelrod
Rabbi Dr. Aaron Glatt
Rabbi Eliyahu Wolf
Eli Hersch, President
Shlomo Zuller, Chairman of the Board
Daniel Frankel, Executive Director
